Alastair Humphreys is a British Adventurer, Author and Blogger. He spent over 4 years cycling round the world, a journey of 46,000 miles through 60 countries and 5 continents. More recently Alastair has walked across the Rub’ al Khali, rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, run 6 marathons through the Sahara desert, completed a crossing of Iceland and participated in an expedition in the Arctic, close to the magnetic North Pole.

Andy was once an IT administrator working in London's Rat Race who was bitten by the adventure bug after travelling though South East Asia, Australia, Peru and running his first ultra-marathon in 2009. Despite the pain of that first bite he decided that before ‘settling down’ he'd like to contribute something to the world by raising money for War Child UK and to lead an amazing life as, you may not be aware of this, working in IT is not all that exciting…

Eric Larsen

Polar adventurer, expedition guide, and educator, Eric Larsen has spent the past 20 years traveling in some of the most remote and extreme environments on the planet. To date, Eric has completed more polar expeditions than any other American in history. Included in that list are the first ever summer expedition to the North Pole as well as a world record expedition to the South Pole, North Pole and top of Mt. Everest all within a 365-day period.

Jasper Winn is a writer, photographer and broadcaster with a particular interest in rural and tribal cultures,'horse-powered' peoples worldwide and slow adventures. He has cycled - usually on cheap, local bicycles - across the Sahara, through Central India, around the 1,000 mile Icelandic coast road and across West Africa. He has travelled long distance on foot following pilgrimage routes in Europe, North Africa and South America. He once roller-skated the 200 mile length of the Netherlands from south to north, and he completed a self-supported tri-athlon length of Ireland, leaving Malin Head by cycle, kayaking down the Shannon and racing the final third of the distance to Malin Head on foot. Jasper has specialised in human- and animal- powered journeys, which he defines as ‘slow adventures.’

Jessica is a British journalist, travel writer with a focus on Africa and an inspirational role model. In 2008 she left a job in London to cycle 5,000 miles of rural sub-saharan Africa to visit 20 different community development projects. Supported by Prince William, the ‘Cycle of Life’ expedition has raised £300,000. In 2010, Jessica led a team of volunteers to Botswana where she oversaw the construction of a wildlife orphanage

Kate is a former world number three real tennis player turned adventurer cyclist who uses her experiences to inspire her audiences. Kate’s story is about creating projects from her passions, staying focused and following each challenge from a dream through to its completion. Her illustrated motivational presentations describes her story where Kate addresses key issues such as leadership, motivation and goal setting

Leon McCarron is a Northern Irish adventurer, filmmaker, writer and motivational speaker. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and specializes in long distance, human-powered expeditions. 
In Winter 2011-2012 Leon walked 3000 miles across China, filming for a National Geographic TV show along the way. The journey took him six months; walking a marathon a day for six days a week and carrying a 30kg pack. Two days afer returning home, Leon was honoured to carry the Olympic Flame along a section of the Northern Irish coast as part of the London 2012 relay.

On the 27th December 2013, Maria Leijerstam became the first person in the world to cycle from the edge of the Antarctic continent to the South Pole and also set the new World Record for the fastest human powered coast to pole traverse, completing her journey in 10 days, 14hrs and 56 minutes

Nancy describes herself as “simply a mom who decided to go for a bike ride”. This bike ride took Nancy and her family on an unbelievable adventure. A long-time veteran of classroom teaching, Nancy took 12 months out with her husband John and 8 year old twins to cycle 9,300 miles around North America. Nancy is an inspirational speaker who breaks down the conventional boundaries associated with motherhood and learning.

Travelled 'Around the World in 80 Ways' using as many different methods of transport as possible. First Briton to climb (or attempt!) several mountains in Kyrgyzstan, Bolivia and Siberia. Walked across the Wahiba Sands desert carrying all own food and water. Ran the length of every London Underground Tube line including several ultra marathons. Holds the world record for the longest distance cycled in a rickshaw (1,000 miles).
