Chloe Chick

Chloe spent six months driving a 4WD in sub-Saharan Africa and during this time, she created a month long expedition for women to summit three of Africa’s highest peaks in support of local non-profit organisations. Chloe pursued her passion to integrate adventure travel and economic development and founded the Peaks Foundation – which organises mountain treks for women in support of local women’s initiatives.

Ed Bassett

Edward is a professional adventurer of over thirty years with experience in mountains, jungles and rivers across the globe. In 1983, Edward suffered an injury that confined him to a wheelchair for thirteen months. This difficult time led him to develop a “full inclusion” policy on all of his expeditions and adventures to ensure that disabled individuals could equally enjoy the thrill of an expedition.

Gerry Roach is a world-class mountaineer, who after climbing Everest in 1983, went on to become the second person to climb the Seven Summits in 1985. He has climbed Gasherbrum II without supplemental oxygen. In 2000 Gerry became the first person to climb the 10 highest North American mountains, then became the first to climb every major peak over 16,000 feet in North America. Climbing throughout the world, he has received numerous accolades along the way.

ian-taylor-profileOn May 23, 2008 Ian Taylor became the youngest Irishman to stand on the top of the world. In June 2007 Ian and friend set out to climb four mountains on four continents in one year with Mount Everest being the final climb. Before June 2007 he had only climbed one mountain over 5,000m. Ian also took on a charity element, raising €70,000 to build the Mt. Everest primary school in Uganda with Irish charity Fields of Life.

Jamie Bunchuk, is an English explorer, equestrian Long Rider and an editor of Sidetracked Magazine. He is best known for his exploration of the Central Asia region. Bunchuk is an established adventure journalist. He is now an editor of Sidetracked Magazine and presenter for Sidetracked TV.

John Amatt climbed to fame for the first ever ascent of Europe’s highest and steepest mountain face – the 5,000 foot “Vertical Mile” Troll Wall in Norway. He was a leader and principal organizer of Canada’s first successful climb to the summit of Mount Everest, an ascent in which four climbers died in two tragic accidents before six of the team were able to reach the top of the world.

Matt Traver is a British-American climber and adventurer, originally from Hong Kong. He has organised and lead expeditions to remote and little-explored areas including the Dragon's Horns West Face in Tioman Island, Malaysia where he climbed a 1300ft new route on the imposing jungle spire. Ultimately he is most inspired by seeking out the little-known, under-explored and forgotten corners of the world.

Ricky is an adventurer and humanitarian aid worker who has led and organised expeditions to 4 continents, completed the Marathon des Sables and pushed his body and mind to the limit on several challenging expeditions. His humanitarian missions have taken him to Kenya, Sudan, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Ricky’s key messages are about creating opportunities for underprivileged youth and following your dreams.

Ryan Waters is a professional mountaineer, guide and polar adventurer. He is the first American to complete the Adventurers Grand Slam by climbing the highest mountain on each continent - the Seven Summits - plus skiing unsupported full ski expeditions to the North and South Poles. Ryan is the also the First American to ski unsupported to both the North and South Poles and via unconventionally difficult means.

Travelled 'Around the World in 80 Ways' using as many different methods of transport as possible. First Briton to climb (or attempt!) several mountains in Kyrgyzstan, Bolivia and Siberia. Walked across the Wahiba Sands desert carrying all own food and water. Ran the length of every London Underground Tube line including several ultra marathons. Holds the world record for the longest distance cycled in a rickshaw (1,000 miles).
