Hajar Ali
Hajar Ali is the founder of Urbane Nomads, a travel company that is about luxury travel in remote, "off the beaten track" destinations.She has spoken and participated on the panels of key industry events in Istanbul, Singapore and Cannes. Hajar was also nominated as one of the 'Great Women of our Time' by Singapore Women's Weekly. In March 2012, Hajar successfully completed a motorised expedition to cross the Empty Quarter, making her the first woman to ever cross this desert.
Travelling past the Dead Sea with her parents as a child, Hajar had seen a man,wrapped all in white, galloping a white horse on its shores. That moment inspired a lifelong fascination with horses and horse cultures which has seen her travel throughout the world in search of out-of-the-ordinary adventures.
