Travelled 'Around the World in 80 Ways' using as many different methods of transport as possible. First Briton to climb (or attempt!) several mountains in Kyrgyzstan, Bolivia and Siberia. Walked across the Wahiba Sands desert carrying all own food and water. Ran the length of every London Underground Tube line including several ultra marathons. Holds the world record for the longest distance cycled in a rickshaw (1,000 miles).
Tim supported the Women's Commonwealth Antarctic Expedition, provided logistcs for Sarah Outen's human-powered circumnavigation, and organised Arctic, Himalayan and jungle expeditions for the British Schools Exploring Society. Helped over 100 individuals, groups and expeditions through website: The Next Challenge. Wrote 'How To Get To The North Pole And Other Iconic Adventures' – a beginner's guide to expeditions.
