FELICITY ASTON
Felicity Aston is the first and only woman in the world to ski across Antarctica alone. The 1744km, 59-day journey completed in January 2012 also made her the first person in the world to do so purely by muscle power without the aid of kites or machines.

On the 27th December 2013, Maria Leijerstam became the first person in the world to cycle from the edge of the Antarctic continent to the South Pole and also set the new World Record for the fastest human powered coast to pole traverse, completing her journey in 10 days, 14hrs and 56 minutes

Roz Savage
2010 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. Roz is an ocean rower, an accomplished international speaker, author and passionate campaigner. She holds four world records for Ocean rowing, including first woman to row three oceans. She has rowed over 15,000 miles and spent cumulatively over 500 days of her life at sea in a 23 foot row boat. She uses her ocean rowing adventures to inspire and motivate audiences.

Hajar Ali
Hajar Ali is the founder of Urbane Nomads, a travel company that is about luxury travel in remote, off-thebeaten- track destinations.She has spoken and participated on the panels of key industry events in Istanbul, Singapore and Cannes. Hajar was also nominated as one of the 'Great Women of our Time' by Singapore Women's Weekly. In March 2012, Hajar successfully completed a motorised expedition to cross the Empty Quarter, making her the first woman to ever cross this desert.
James Borrell
James Borrell is a conservation biologist with a passion for exploration and adventure. His first expedition experience was a month spent in the rainforests of Madagascar at the age of 17. Subsequently he has been involved with several further expeditions to Norway and the Peruvian Amazon, conducted field research in South Africa, sailed across the Atlantic Ocean and travelled overland from London to Istanbul in search of Europe’s remaining wild places. Just back from a field trip to the highlands of Scotland, James is planning to undertake field research in Northern Lapland later this summer.

CHLOE CHICK
Chloe spent six months driving a 4WD in sub-Saharan Africa and during this time, she created a month long expedition for women to summit three of Africa’s highest peaks in support of local non-profit organisations. Chloe pursued her passion to integrate adventure travel and economic development and founded the Peaks Foundation – which organises mountain treks for women in support of local women’s initiatives.
Gerry Roach
Gerry Roach is a world-class mountaineer, who after climbing Everest in 1983, went on to become the second person to climb the Seven Summits in 1985. He has climbed Gasherbrum II without supplemental oxygen. In 2000 Gerry became the first person to climb the 10 highest North American mountains, then became the first to climb every major peak over 16,000 feet in North America. Climbing throughout the world, he has received numerous accolades along the way.
Ian Taylor
On May 23, 2008 Ian Taylor became the youngest Irishman to stand on the top of the world. In June 2007 Ian and friend set out to climb four mountains on four continents in one year with Mount Everest being the final climb. Before June 2007 he had only climbed one mountain over 5,000m. Ian also took on a charity element, raising €70,000 to build the Mt. Everest primary school in Uganda with Irish charity Fields of Life.
James Ketchell
James has overcome adversity to succeed in his adventures. In 2011 James reached the summit of Mount Everest. Nearly a year previous to that James had rowed single handed across the Atlantic Ocean. Three years prior to that he was recovering from a serious motorcycle accident that left him with broken legs, a severely broken and dislocated ankle. The prognosis was that he was likely to suffer a permanent walking impairment
John Amatt
John Amatt climbed to fame for the first ever ascent of Europe’s highest and steepest mountain face – the 5,000 foot “Vertical Mile” Troll Wall in Norway. He was a leader and principal organizer of Canada’s first successful climb to the summit of Mount Everest, an ascent in which four climbers died in two tragic accidents before six of the team were able to reach the top of the world.

John (Pommy) Pomfret is a British entrepreneur and adventurer. He is an experienced mountaineer who has led treks and several expeditions to places such as South America, the Himalaya and Africa on numerous occasions, in 2006 John led a group of 13 to Everest Base Camp before joining a group to successfully summit Mt. Everest.
